I've been using the Pixio PXC248WAVE for a few weeks now, and it's a solid budget gaming monitor. The 200Hz refresh rate is buttery smooth in fast-paced shooters, and the 1ms response time keeps motion blur minimal. The curved VA panel offers decent contrast, though viewing angles aren't as good as IPS. Colors are good out of the box. Built-in speakers are weak, but that's typical for monitors. Adaptive-Sync worked fine with my AMD card. For $200, it's a great value – just be aware the stand only tilts. Overall, a strong contender if you want high refresh on a budget.
